I also tried playing a full support role which is questionable... you need 10 kills for vit frenzy + the seal and max ability. You can mark all 4 divers and your teammate will constantly heal. Only tried this once and my teammate was a thresher, probably the worst shark for this, but it kind of worked. Kill -> escape -> cooldown on tail whip -> kill escape. It is clear that it this can be much better with a hammerhead or great white or tiger or literally any other shark.
After such stupidity and uselessness coming from White Tip and Goblin, Blue is incredibly refreshing. Finally shark players can actually be USEFUL rather than ticked burners whenever they go as a squishy shark.
Ultimately I don't see much reason to pick it over the Mako even if the healing evo gives it an easier early game, being able to gain anywhere from 5 to 15 extra evo points per marked kill can't be topped. Maybe if the Blue were to gain 5 points across the board on top of the healing I'd be inclined to use it more often but as he currently stands, he just feels like a Mako with a handicap that really comes into play around the stage when Mako's free points start to make a difference.
So basically blue is the very first health/support shark
Git gud then. If I can target it with my trash aim so can you if you put some effort.
Hmm, no. Thresher is probably the first support shark. But everyone plays it like any other shark. Blue can also be a support but I bet people will just play it like a killing machine as well.
If you just swim by and tail whip with max ability, that's 30 points or 3 kills. You make it super easy to get any kill for your teammate as any high damage shark. Thing is people play Thresher as this solo killing shark, so do I but Thresher clearly has a support role to be played if so desired.
in other words its pretty decent shark if your in a vc with another where you can mark the diver where your teamie can kill and insta heal after. but unorginised itl just be all over the place.
