How to you 'Unlock' DPV?

Personally it is unlocked for me but I don't know what I did to get it unlocked and a friend wants to use it but it says its locked for him.

i think they would need to level up more, the higher you level up most of the stuff should unlock (hence the goblin wich needs mako to unlock)

Nothing is level-locked anymore.

Tell your friend to mouse over the locked DPV icon and read what it says. It'll tell you what task you need to complete in order to unlock it. All you have to do is complete that task and finish the match.

Yep, it was just changed in this event. Thank goodness, too, it was kinda ridiculous that some of the most useful evo's and upgrades were locked away until level 30+. Now all you need to do is complete a task with one item in a category to show that you understand how it works, and then you unlock the next one.

I didn't even now that, I've unlocked DPV and that sonar thingy without even knowing what I did to unlock them, haha.
