Good for solo play?
I heard it has ai but is it worth it if you just play with ai?

Yeah if you really want to. There are always people playing so you can still play online.

The AI for Depth is actually pretty good - just try it if you want, you can always refund it if you don't like it.

The ai can be all over the place, sometimes you get potato diver/sharks then other times you get sniper god divers and murderspree sharks.

Well i'll give it a try since i had a discount of 60% off from crafting a steam badge :B1:

As someone who likes the game a lot and plays online, I'd say it isn't. AI games only deliver a fraction of the fun and show nothing of the game's intricacy as multiplayer matches do. I'd rather never play again than being locked to just AI play or so. If you're getting the game anyway, why not just play online?

I am the type of person who likes vsing with ai because i have really bad internet alot, that is why i liked Gears of War 3 on XBOX 360 which i still play just for that game. But i can try online if it isn't bad for my internet

Nope.

If you play from time to time, don't go in-depth with the game's mechanics, and just stick to Steve, then it's enough.

I only play against bots and I love it. Lots of options in building a solo game.

What does that even mean?

i think they mean bot difficulty level maybe? though i wouldn't call that a 'lot' of options

to OP: bots can be fun, and a good way to enjoy the game without feeling pressured to do well too. I often use Hard bots to practice sharks i'm not good at.

You need to play vs people to unlock the most important shark upgrades, and quite a few important diver weapons and attachments. And trust me, once you try it for that reason alone, you will realize that playing with other people is really fun with virtually 0 downsides.

Funnily enough, a game called Maneater is coming out in the near future that's being made by a former member of the Depth team, and it's a single player game

you wont be able to progress I think if you just stick to AI because all unlockables are strictly PVP based. you will not get in-game drops (Skins and stuff) either I do believe.

Besides solo play with bots their has been talk about a game being made by the original creative head behind depth called Maneater. I would suggest checking it out because the concept of it is basically depth + Jaws Unleashed

Only in multiplaye where a.i. difficulty is random. Offline the bots are as easy or as hard as you make them, and from OP's post, he seems to be talking about offline.
