Jawbot?
The truth is, there isn't many ways hacks could be made for sharks. As far as I know, everything related to damage (both dealing and receiving) are handled server-side, which makes it nearly impossible to hack (at least, not without hacking the whole server; which, at that point, mere hacks would be the lesser of our concerns). Speedhacks have always been possible in every game and Depth's no exception, but the VAC system's plenty capable of dealing with that kind of hacking, which means it doesn't stay in the game all that long. As for thrashing and monitor hacks, well, neither of those really give any advantages (thrashing faster doesn't deal more damage, and a high brightness is merely blinding for the sharks). I can't even think of another way the game could be hacked, sooo...
But the real question, is it even possible to use hacks on a vac-secured server?
I thought that a cheater can be auto - banned for it.
With video and all...
+1 for steps taken tho...
Also, VAC bans aren't instant. The VAC system is essentially a system of logs (information is merely being stored for later), the system simply checks the logs at some point and flags suspicious behavior / bans confirmed hackers. That's why VAC bans are often called "ban waves", because everyone gets banned at nearly the exact same moment (and that makes it immensely hard for those producing hacks to accurately know what they did wrong, since they can't know exactly which changes caused them to be detected). In other words, detection is instant but consequences aren't.
I think an aimbot as a shark would actually work though. Would just kind of nullify the thrashing disorienting and make it to where you immediately target the next victim with no delay.
Speedhacking can definitely be a thing.
When I encounter a hacker I actually don't bother about playing the game anymore, rather just recording his actions.
This woman knows everything about hacks in this game. Just check her screenshots, she probably has a book full of hackusations by now.
