Tutorial: How to make Live2D model from flat jpg material (screen-caps from anime)
Hello! This is imst from youtube. I've came up with an experimental project, made this Live2D model from just screen caps from anime, and I didn't use my drawing tablet at all, just the mouse.

You can see the result in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWnPWygJEyM

This experiment proves the possibility of making Live2D. Been a while I've noticed that a lot of non-artist people desperately want to know about such possibility.
If anyone here have been curious also, please stay tuned, I will release new episodes as soon as possible (literally).
I just want to share ahead of time, hoping to collect questions on the go, so to cover those aspects in the immediate following episode (cuz i'm not good at structuring the lessons...).

___________ !! TLDR !! __________

YOU can make your favorite character come alive with Live2D, EVEN IF you don't draw.

- Live2D Cubism 2.1 (Free version)
- Live2D Viewer 2.1 (Free version)

Nice tutorial Rits, but you must also be aware of the legal aspect when creating a fan-art 2D(even3D) model. Since we are not lawyers, we cannot give you legal counsel on this matter but in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKBsTUjd910
you will find a LOT of information on the subject given by an actual lawyer with a lot of experience on copyright law.It is up to you when you decide to make a fan-art 2D/3D model to find out relevant information regarding if it’s permitted or not.

Thanks for sharing the info, I was not aware of the potential problem. I'll look deeper into this subject, because i do see its part of my personal responsibility to do so. If you guys are uncomfortable with this thread, please let me know so I can remove it (or just go ahead and do so). Thanks again! : )
