Live2D - Custom character - More mouth options
Hello there!

I created my first custom character in Live2D and am very satisfied with the workflow. Thank you for making this possible!

However, is it possible to have more options for the mouth, similar to the 3D models? At the moment, I feel like it lacks expressiveness.
Things like:
* mouth width (puckered mouth)
* lopsided expressions (smile only on the left side etc.)
Are there perhaps already parameter names for this behaviours, and I simply missed them (like "PARAM_MOUTH_FORM" -> "(PARAM_MOUTH_L_FORM)")?

Help would be very much appreciated!

Hello Kristina

In theory it would be possible, we just need to get a better feel of a standardised set of changes before we implement them.

The current implementation is tuned around the assumption that most people will get the Free version of the Live2D Cubism editor, and that has a more limited count of parameter inputs.

However there have been more requests lately regarding viseme support and some body motion support, so we have it on our todo list to analyze all these requests and add more parameters to Live2D support.
After implementation comes testing, then writing documentation, then beta, then tweaking it some more, then localization of the documentation and software to all languages and only then public release :).

However first we need to finish up the current tasks ( we are still a small indie at this time team :) )

It would be very nice to have all those parameters to play with. It is unfortunate to hear that the software is tuned for the free version of cubism. I create live2D rigs with many custom parameters and would love the ability to tie them to motion data.

FaceRig Live2D has a problem that emotion can not be freely expressed
I have been in trouble for a long time
Just make the motion data that is running in the existing 3D model available for Live2D
No need for new development, Only additional work

長い間大変困ってます
既存の3Dモデルで動いている動作データをLive2Dで使えるようにするだけ
新規開発不要、追加作業だけです

I hope the parameters we can use with 3D models can be available in Live2D module too.

If you have room to comply with Live2D SDK 3.3, please give priority to this.
Live2D SDK3.3対応する余裕があるなら、こちらを優先して下さい。
