I think the same issue is going on with the second computer as well, because the normal camera drivers for my specific laptop model are 64 bit whereas my OS is 32 bit, so I had to look for other alternative drivers which are probably not working
2 questions: what program does work with it then, and is that a 32 or a 64 bit program?
The program is here http://www.filedropper.com/eyetoy64archive if you want to test it out or something
The other programs i've tried it with is Camtasia and Manycam. Both programs see the Eye toy as a recording device but when selecting it Camtasia prints out "Webcam not available" and Manycam prints out "Can't start video, try closing other programs that might be using your webcam". Facerig does not say anything regarding the calibration of the camera when it is selected. Afaik Camtasia and Manycam are 32 bit
Also, after a bit of searching I noticed a installation video, that also had the 32 bits link (not tested, no guarantees (Also because I don't have an eyetoy) Use at your own risk)
that does confirm my theorie that the problem lies between 32 facerig and 64 eye-cam.
Did you look at that link and try the 32-bit eyecam drivers? Maybe that would enable you to directly select the eyecam.
