Facerig virtual cam not detected by Skype/Discord/Etc
Screenshots illustrating issue: https://imgur.com/a/fNNxs

This post is not talking about the physical webcam or feed of myself, I’m talking about the video feed Facerig sends to Skype/Discord/etc when you enable streaming. If you look at the screenshots I included you can see the driver is there, windows is not happy they aren’t digitally signed, steaming is on in the Facerig app, and neither Skype or Discord detect the Facerig virtual cam.

I don’t think the original initial setup completed properly so I uninstalled Facerig from steam. When I reinstalled it there must be settings saved somewhere, so it didn’t do the first run again or attempt to install the additional software. I looked up how to manually install it, did so in what I believe was the proper order. It still didn’t work.

So then I uninstalled the Facerig program, uninstalled the drivers, and completely uninstalled steam (I didn't know how to otherwise get it to run like it was the very first time). When I reinstalled steam and Facerig it went through the first time run setup. STILL the Facerig virtual cam is not working properly. I don’t know what to do from this point.

There is no install script log for whatever reason: https://i.imgur.com/NWfoHyG.jpg
System: Windows 7
Facerig is running through Steam
(Not sure of Build version, I installed it today so whatever that is?)

Note: I originally posted in the official Facerig Forum, but I saw a dev (Jujubi) suggest to another person to post here as the Devs are more active on Steam.

Hi, for these type of issues it's best to reinstall the redistributables, not the entire programs altogether.
Please check this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/274920/discussions/2/451848854993041115/
And be sure that your antivirus doesn't block FaceRig.

More precisely, run the following:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FaceRig\Bin\prerequisites\FaceVirtualCamDriver\FaceRigVirtualCamDriver_win7.exe

If Windows doesn't like the digital signature, then it won't let you use the device at all, there is no need to reinstall FaceRig or Steam Client.

FaceRigVirtualCamDriver_win7.exe doesn't help the situation, try FaceRigVirtualCamDriver_win7_noupdate.exe.

That fixed it. Thank you for checking these posts, I'd given up and just started using OBS till you helped me figure out what was missing.
