FaceRig has hijacked my webcam
I recently installed FaceRig and tested it out in Roll20 (in Google Chrome). It works great; however, now Roll20 can't access my webcam directly. It will only use FaceRic Virtual Camera.
I've tested it in Skype and that can access my webcam just fine, however, the person I did a test-call with (they were using an iPad) couldn't see my FaceRig feed when I tried broadcasting it, it was just flickering back and forth between fullscreen and notxz and on my side, it didn't show my feed, just theirs.
Has anyone troubleshooted this problem and fixed it before?

Thank you,
Lady Manga

Hi, please be sure go to Options in Roll20 and select your camera instead of the FaceRig virtual camera.

Hi Aty,

I'm not sure if you mean "Settings" in Roll20, because I don't see "Options" anywhere. If so, you can't set which camera Roll20 uses from there in any option that I can see. At the top of the page in the address bar, however, there's a little camera icon. When I click it, I have the option to select which mic Roll20 is using, but I can't interact with the video input dropdown box (it's greyed out and set to Facerig VirtualCam).

The issue you are having is not related to FaceRig Virtual Camera or FaceRig at all. If you have more than one video source device, this is what Chrome does. You cannot change the webcam source from that menu, I really don't know why. What you can do is go to chrome://settings/content/camera and change it from here, then restart the browser.

The fact that Roll20 doesn't have any option to change the webcam, again, is something outside our control.

Hmm, I just checked, and actually, it's already set to my webcam in chrome://settings/content/camera, so I dunno what to do now...

I'm having the same problem, but I suspect it's a problem with roll20 rather than facerig. That being said, even after I uninstalled facerig trying to debug a similar problem, chrome still thinks facerig is a viable camera in the chrome://settings menu, so that might be something the devs will want to look into.

The facerig virtual webcam is a separate program you need to un-install from the windows programs and features

Sounds like uninstalling is my only real option but I leally don't want to do that because I actually do want to use facerig to stream with in the future.

Have you tried re-installing the drivers for your real webcam?
Sometimes that causes the webcam to be set as "default" in other programs, causing it to possible work again.
Also, you can always just enable the "real webcam" in facerig by clicking the pic'n'pic button a couple of times

I will give that a shot, thank you ^_^
