OBS 64 bit does not list Facerig as a video capture device [works on obs 32 bit]
You seem to have misunderstood my email I sent . I was saying you have no longer got the option to do video capture on OBS with facerig. It does not list facerig as video capture device instead you are forced to go to game capture on OBS to find facerig listed there without the option of doing green screen chroma key to make the background invisible and because this your not able to size it properly on OBS either ... I am trying to fix this issue you have with your program not being recognized by OBS as a video capture device and using manycams , but they suck so bad their program does.
Please assist me in fixing this issue ....it s annoying having to use crappy manycam's program and its bugged to .. has a black bar on top and bottom when I use their program and shows their stupid logo in the way to .

Ar a fist step please confirm that you are using OBS 32 bit ( not OBS 64 bit) .

Let us know if the FaceRig Virtual webcam is listed in the 32 bit version of obs (it is a known issue that it does not work in obs 64) .

Did you already try it with the 32-bit version of OBS?

the 64-bit version currently can't access the webcam feed from FaceRig because of a 32-bit version of the webcam code that was used. This will get fixed in a future update, but till then I suggest trying out the 32-bit version of OBS.

Edit: haha, seems like Holotech and I answered the question at the same time :)

When will you have this updated.. do you have an estimate date if not actual date when you will have this issue fixed for 64 bit version of OBS?

If you already have OBS installed, just open your windows start menu, all programs, go to the "Open Broadcaster Software" folder and select "Open Broadcaster Software (32 bit)"

Also, no ETA's are given out about release dates for patches other then as soon as normally possible.

i would sugged to make your own thread as this is an old one. In OBS, you need to select "Facerig Virtual Camera. Make sure you have FaceRig virtual cam installed, can be found here :[SteamlibraryFolder]\common\FaceRig\Bin\prerequisites\FaceVirtualCamDriver\.
Make sure your real physical webcam is used by FaceRig (and only by FaceRig) and that tracking works, by going in the Advanced UI-> General Settings->Devices-> Select your real webcam and click okay. Make sure that you see yourself in the small video feed.
Then toggle broadcasting on (from the Advanced UI top bar), and go in Obs and make sure that the FaceRig Virtual Camera is used by Obs (and only by Obs, no other program). If you encounter an error when you try to use FaceRig with OBS start your own thread and provide us with the vp.log and dxdiag file like here http://steamcommunity.com/app/274920/discussions/2/34096318703798146/
