Still, this is fun to use on Skype XP
Thanks!
7. Choose FaceRigh Virtual Ca,
Just says my cam is in use by another program?
For chat roulette/ omegle regarding the black screen issue, the most usual problem is that folks usually forget to enable browser access to the Virtual Webcam from the buttons that pop up in the browser right under the address bar, and then to toggle it off and on from the Omegle interface (they only enable access from the Flash player settings, which is not enough, and don't do the on/off toggle after allowing its access from both flash AND the top browser buttons).
So if these steps are not taken, omegle will only display a black screen. Then to force it to work in omegle, folks have opted install a third party software called manycam which does the job for some, but for others it can cause further conflicts with webcam sources and more crashes occur.
Thank you for the quick reply, loving it so far. Just did a skype session with a friend worked fairly well. :D
I run Windows 7. I reinstalled FaceRig and it worked.
I shut down Skype, uninstalled FaceRig, reinstalled it, started it up and started Skype again, and that didn't fix it. No matter what order I start the programs, Skype's video settings don't see FaceRig as a camera...
(Windows 7 x64, if it's relevant.)
1. Launch FaceRig
2. Click on toggel broadcast
3. Launch Skype
I've already done that. Sorry, I didn't add that I toggled Broadcast before launching Skype.
EDIT: I'm a derp. The scroll bar was so tiny, I didn't think to scroll up. I've fixed it now. =)
Cannot wait until it's more optimised, dying to be able to export videos. Amusing me much more than I expected it would.
