Is the LEAP MOTION support up to V2?

FACERIG does not work with Orion software.
I am looking forward to supporting Orion software. Because there are many differences in the accuracy of tracking.

Hello, we've heard about the latest Orion Software, however right now our focus is on the development of a platform-agnostic SDK which will allow any developer to easily add based interaction in their products (games, apps or whatever) :).

I have Leap Motion so I've bought the FaceRig and the Logitec C920 and now I've realized there is no support for the actual software? Shame.

Devs, please at least update the info - add the beta/nextversion thing and probably also the link to the V2 software: https://developer.leapmotion.com/sdk/v2 (one has to log in and download the SDK zip, there is a Leap_Motion_Installer_release_public_win_x86_2.3.1+31549_ah1886.exe file)

... there is also the issue with V2 and latest Win10, solution is here[forums.leapmotion.com] and also some issue[i.imgur.com] with the Geforce drivers

So devs, please, we need to enable LM under the Orion sw.

The official release is still sometimes next week, but we've made it available on nextversion, on FaceRig Classic only. You can go ahead and play around with it and feel free to give us feedback if you find anything worth mentioning.

@dmnc we've just made the update live on the nextversion branch, install the latest drivers/orion sw from leap motion website and have it a go. We added the new leap installers to the DLC installation process, unfortunately, Steam Client doesn't restart the installation process, once the DLC has already been installed once, so that's why you have to do it manually.

Sorry, I am new to Steam, Facerig and particularly Leap. From the above I am not clear whether FaceRig is now supposed to work with the Orion software from Leap Motion or not (for me it doesn't work) or what I need to do in order to make it work (how to manually install the leap installers via the DLC process).
Can you please clarify?

Facerig is compatible with Leap Motion Orion, they actually already included the installer in the Bin/prerequisites/Leap folder, if your device fail to work with Facerig try to install from their source.

Thanks for the suggestion. I uninstalled the LEAP software I had downloaded from LEAP and installed the one provided with Facerig.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed. While the LEAP shows up in the device manager and the tray icon is green and the visualizer shows my hands and displays the "bones" over them, no other software recognizes the LEAP, neither the LEAP apps nor Facerig.
Any other ideas?

Have you installed this DLC?

Also on the Advanced Trackers setting page, make sure Hand Tracking is enabled.

@Pixelvertivce is right; make sure that Leap Motion is added in the trackers section and it appears as active. You can also go to the Task Manager, switch to Services, look for "Leap Service" and restart it (the service, that is).

I installed v4 of the leap motion SDK (orion) from leaps web site and the leap worked with facerig, though oddly i got better tracking with leap pointed at me rather than on the desk. but it does work.
