FaceRig on Discord?

With the recent update to Discord adding the ability to video chat with other users, i was very curious to see if this program was compatible on Discord, considering it is on sale right now.

Facerig will register itself as virtual webcam that you can use it in any software. So yes it does. I've tested it myself

While having FaceRig broadcasting, I can not find it as an independant camera in Discord to use. So, not working for me.

Did you also re-install the facerig virtual webcam for your device already (with facerig and any other webcam-using programs OFF)?

Well.. I tried re-installing FaceRig alltogether. I'll have to say I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to the 'virtual webcam'. Seperate download?

I'll say, I just realized there was a seperate installer for the virtual camera driver. I found it and ran it, and now the camera works. Derp. Sorry about the fuss, got it working now.

For the record, the Virtual Camera should have been installed automatically once you installed FaceRig (it's one of those Steam Client installation steps). It's great that you did it manually, although it's odd the automatic process did not work properly, unless you cancelled the steps or ran Steam Client without admin privileges.

I also found it odd it didn't do it automatically - there was no steps I could cancel out during the installation, so it's indeed a bit weird. Good thing it can be installed manually, at least. Pretty sure I've got Steam running with admin priviliges, and I didn't have to run the camera installer with admin priviliges anyway. *Shrug*
