Microsoft LifeCam HD 3000 not working, please help

I have the program working, but no web cam. IIt has a message used by other program or outdated drivers. I am in windows 10, I went to privacy settings and turned off most of other items using camera. One other thing the facerig came was listed under device manager, I removed it hoping it would help but cant reinstall that piece even using verify files. Any help in troubleshooting would be welcome, thanks.

Please update your camera drivers, it should fix the issue you are having.
And then reselect it in FaceRig.

I run through all the updates and it says already updated

Could you both please provide the VP.log and dxdiag info? There's a helpful post on how to get these info here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/274920/discussions/2/34096318703798146/

Also, I'm assuming you have re-selected the webcam from Advanced UI > Advanced Tracking Configuration > Trackers tab > ULSee section.

As a quick workaround you can get manycam, route the camera through it and select the manycam device in FaceRig.

I think I may have it figured out. I have another computer that has the same setup on. Windows 10, I installed Steam and Facerig. When it came to the camera I didn't install the Microsoft driver downlod. I just hooked up the webcam. I looked under device manager and it was there. So all I did was plug in the webcam and start Facerig and ran like a charm. No problems.

Ok, a update on getting the webcam to work on the original computer. I had it plugged into a hub. This was the problem. I plugged into the computer usb and everything fired right up. Awesome. So if you are getting the check update or used by another program make sure you are plugged directly into the computer.
