PS2 EyeToy for hands tracking?
I've just dug a Logitech PS2 EyeToy out of my wardrobe the other day, and surprise! it works on Facerig!
I've just been thinking though... "could it be used for Hands tracking? It was made for that after all"
so, I'm 100% positive that it would work greatly, but I guess it would requires some driver tampering on my end, and I don't wanna ruin it, so I'd thought on asking here;
is there any way to use my Logitech EyeToy for hands tracking as it is? (no updates or coding) or that would require and update from Holotech? (which I think they will think is a needless thing for the cost-benefit)
P.S. while I'm at it, how about the same for Xbox kinetic?
P.P.S. one thing though: you really need a custom Driver for it, and you need to disable your primary camera (E.I. Laptop's front camera) for the face tracking
P.P.P.S. FYI, "P.S." stands for "Post Script" so the correct way to use more is P.P.S. (Post Post Script) not P.S.S. (Post Script Script?) More you learn :rainbow effects:
P.P.P.P.S. personally, I'd like to use the EyeToy for face tracking and another camera for hands tracking (EyeToy have a unbelievably high resolution and quality for it's time), but I can't seem to find camera select in any settings
P.P.P.P.P.S. (boy, that's a whole lot!!) I'm posting in General Discussion because I don't really see as a suggestion, but moderators: do what you do best!

Hi, integrating new sensors would require work on our end. Being a small company, we need to prioritize based on demand, so integrating a new sensor would require a lot of people owning the respective sensor already (:
