It's a cleaning game not a RPG.
it's indeed a cleaning game - but i didnt expect to be a wallet cleaner.
if people are looking for something engaging, this game is not it.
in a cleaning game you expect it to be more engaging than real life cleaning.
they really need to make it less clunky and faster.
I don't get how traps can have a soul.
that's how they would add soul to the game.
bunch of unninspired ideas covered by the obvious "sexy protagonist" just to get people to open their wallets for cleaning.
at least the wallet may have a spider or 2 to keep it entertaining.
really lacking for now.
Which is once again an arbitrary term used by gamers to define a game despite having no real meaning.
This seems to be more like a subjective term (like "charm") to define older games that they liked as a child/teenager.
That's why most nostalgic people says that "the remake lacks soul/charm" even if it's one that improved in every way because of their rose tinted nostalgia glasses that make them think that old systematically equals good despite the flaws and that if the newer things does not follows the zeitgeist of the original it is therefore bad but instead of straight up saying they don't like they use the adjectives soulless and charmless as if they were objective facts.
Same thing with how people focus a lot on the smallest details to tell how great a game is only because of things that barely 10% of players would normally notice and are often seen in Youtube compilations that brings a lot of views only so people are like "this game was so much in advance to its time" just because of one thing that a dev must've been crunched to program during week-ends.
And then again what is the problem with having pretty looking protagonists?
Especially in an era where apparently women are no longer allowed to look pretty in AAA games for some reasons.
i'm just making this post to discourage people from buying it + adding suggestions so they don't fall in the "oh look a sexy goblin" trap.
sorry about offending your game and all but it's really boring. i'm just ellaborating on ideas because it's something the comapny can do.
my negative feedback is more important than people that already bought it.
they ain't changing the core gameplay - they are just going to add more stuff other than boring traps. specially for solo players
if you are already sold on the dungeon cleaning idea - or - if you are sold on the idea that putting random objects in pre-set places while jumping or timing a few traps with no consequence to the objects you are holding (since the traps don't destroy them) is fun, then that's on you.
i liked the whole idea but it lacks more action.
because players like me, that already have it IRL don't care about the image and care about the gameplay itself.
you vomit ideas to the developers.
than they work on what they think it's good.
that's how games change.
the ideas in this post may appeal to me and maybe 20% of the players out there that seen the game but didnt bought it.
another thing:
if the dungeon doesn't have engaging puzzles or platforming, then it must have action. this game lacks both. it's literally a game where you hold wooden barrels on pre-set places and wait 3 seconds.
that's fun? if it was not a female orc, would you still buy it?
see where i'm going?
they need more appeal other than dressing up an orc.
see?
i-m-a-g-i-n-a-t-i-o-n.
this is a better puzzle rather than just using jumps and timing little strafes to avoid traps. you actively needing to trigger traps to complete objectives give the game more soul.
is it difficult? certainly.
but this game is a skip for me right now.
the puzzles need to be complex, or the platforming, or the action.
i feel like it has all 3 but none of them are too outstanding enough for my age.
either adding enemies, or more complex platforming which timing is significantly important, or more action where you also gotta deal with some enemies ( i don't know if adding enemies is your vision for the game).
also a huge thing is that the objects you carry need to be destroyed when they get hit by the traps. i put a barrel below one of those heavy ceiling traps and it didnt got destroyed.
so there was no negative impact for making a mistake. only the extra blood on the floor.
also a customizable janitor room would be good as well :) the game is on my wishlist but i really wanna see this one have something extra and more engaging. keep on.

so, just to dump it all here:
•co-op puzzles (where 1 holds a certain trigger so the other can pass through a door or something , with solo alternatives).
• more engaging and fast platforming.
• more puzzles involving using the environment / traps to solve it.
• more NPCs inside the dungeon (imagine going to a stage with a big sleeping dragon and you gotta figure a way to kill him to get the dead hero's sword on the other side - so you gotta prepare the traps to kill the dragon and finish what the hero couldn't. then you clean both the dragon and get his head to decorate your janitor room and the hero's sword for you to use as a skin for the mop).
•more customization and rewards
•ways to customize the janitor base
•dungeon related puzzles
•adding a storyline for the cleaning - like "oh the hero's partner died up there. please help me get her heart and brains so we can send it back to the hero).
I just want to address some of your points quickly
•co-op puzzles (where 1 holds a certain trigger so the other can pass through a door or something , with solo alternatives). (not a terrible suggestion actually, but may be difficult/impossible to implement due to drop-in drop-out nature of co-op)
• more engaging and fast platforming. (not necessary IMO, but not all levels are released yet so maybe that's already there)
• more puzzles involving using the environment / traps to solve it. (reasonable suggestion, but again, might already be in later levels)
(somebody wasn't paying attention in orientation. Your job is to RESET the dungeon, not clear it. The dragons are friends, albeit somewhat grumpy ones)
•more customization and rewards (customization has not even been released, keep your panties on)
•ways to customize the janitor base (patience young padawan, let's get the base game first)
•dungeon related puzzles (what does this mean?)
•adding a storyline for the cleaning - like "oh the hero's partner died up there. please help me get her heart and brains so we can send it back to the hero). (storyline maybe, but no helping of heros, they're the ones making all this damn mess in the first place.)
Finally, with regards to your comment about "if it was not a female orc, would you still buy it?" Yes. 100%. It's a fun game. The cute GOBLIN maid (it's in the name ffs) is a bonus.
you antagonized my every idea just for the sake of antagonization?
and not for the sake of the developer
when the project dies because of the lack of content, i'm just gonna say "told you so".
