A lot of people are sick of 'modern' games Skara had a great old-school hack and slash feel with a solid array of characters to play etc

I think they dropped it. Last article on the homepage mentioned that the server (backend) code was a spaghetti mess and the people who worked on the code had already moved on to another company (they stopped working there). I.e. it would take a great amount of resources and time to re-write the code.

What about the models and stages etc, weapon models,

those were all pretty good they alone would give another company a great starting chance to continue and finish a game.

The game wasn't that bad at all why would it be given up when there's so much other garbage on steam constantly put out and peddled?

This sucks they should sell the assets or something make them available to other devs,

Maybe they could put them for sale on some '3D' model site, is anyone able to contact them about this?

There's literally no other 'dark (low magic) fantasy' pvp hack and slash game on steam that has such good no-nonsense combat mechanics,

A new company should pick up the assets and finish it..

The lore was cool. It did stand out from other hack n slash games.
Your best chance at getting answers (to these questions) is from either the developer or ppl who worked on it.
