Savages playing houdini/disappearing

So I encountered this problem that occurs most of the time when you look at another direction when a savage is trying to attack you. They literary vanish in thin air which make them a dangeroues foe (not really). So far only the savages seems to have this ability though havent check on the old woods because of that..... "thing" on the brigde...

Savages disappear when looking at another direction.

When you are being attacked by a savage and you turn at a different location there is a chance for it to disapear from sight. As seen in the video the savage disappear without leaving a trace and then procede to appear to then vanish on my line of sight.

Yeah i had the same problem, i was waiting for night near my well and with no worning nor sound a rock hit my face, istarted to look around but was no sign of the savage, the only thing that was left was a stain in my underwaer.

Thanks, videos are great help for me! To be honest the houdini act is kinda cool, maybe we'll do a enemy who does that :D

Rock throwing savages sometimes do hit and run tactics, so it may have been intentional.
