I wanted to test the wedding invite event (on night two) so I started a new run (on normal mode) and went idle inside the hideout (I didn't leave) for the entire day & night..
..When morning came I interacted with wolfman then I left the hideout to cancel the time freeze and begin the timer.. however, once I was out and about, day two just became an endless day (as if it was still locked in the time freeze state), night two never came (I then deleted the save file but hopefully the above steps help you recreate it).
It seems hard to recreate this (but I have encountered it more than once now).. one theory I've come up with is maybe it can happen if you move away from the hideout in the morning to start the day timer but then you return to the hideout without going away far enough for the wolfman (or trader) to despawn, and when you interact with them (or the oven) the game saves and the day somehow becomes endless..
Having said that, I have also seen this glitch happen when I've saved the game right at the end of the day (just before nightfall) and nightfall never came when I reloaded the save (so it was an endless dusk).
