But be advise that hideout 2 can be harder to defend as there are more windows to blockade and doors to fix, so make sure you have enough nails and planks.
Sorry buddy I'm having hard time understanding what you are trying to say
Hideout 2 which is at the "Forest" has good resources around it with key areas but the hideout has more windows and doors to barricade and I'm guessing hideout 3 which is in the "Old Woods" will be twice as hard to defend.
I guess it is designed to make sure you don't turtle yourself in your hideout to the point monsters can't get in completely.
In hideout 1 you probably won't face many hard invasion since it is in the starting area but from my experience, on the later days like day 5+ savages and chompers are more frequent and they start breaking down my barricade and moving my wardrobe.
Its never taken that much time pushing and pulling the wardrobe to get in and out, it only requires a little openning to go through.
For the green poison things, they spawn in any hideout I believe because I've had it in hideout 2, still haven't figured out what causes it to spawn, just use a dab of gasoline next to it then light it with a match to take care of it.
Oh you can cause the spread of the green infection in your hideout yourself just from walking around? how would you know if you step on something nasty lol or are you talking about stepping onto another green goo infestation?
Also, the worms' new squealing disturbs me more than anything else in the game.
