Even being to the chicken ladys house previously, i still had to use metal chain to get down the well. Then run down the tunnel and surface at the house right in front of the chicken ladys house.
Otherwise the chicken ladys house does not exist
I swear this game changes the level from different perspectives or some sort of illusion
Because off-map areas don't have an actual map that you can pull up it does make it harder to navigate (specially if it's a large area like the village) but you can get a mental image of it after a few visits, it starts feeling familiar..
A good way of remembering the location of her house is to remember that the tractor (where you meet another NPC) is right outside/beside her house..
Other things to look out for (aside from the wandering chickens).. the huge rock outside her house & the path which connects it to a burned out building (where there is another NPC & crate).
For several days i walked all around silent forest and not a single village.
And without that LaDY I cannot move further through the story...
