Church Trapdoor.

What's the code? Like an idiot, I left when the Priest told me the code and I forgot it, I know it had a 5 and an 8 I think. I've tried many combinations, and I didn't get the locket in the dream which tells you the code.. Help?

You can go left from the trapdoor to end the dream. There's 3 doors you have to go through. They're all locked.

Door 1: there's a crate next to the trapdoor with a lockpick.
Door 2: there's an axe in the room after door 1, use that to break door 2. Watch out, a chomper will spawn in the church, but you should be able to both kill the chomper and break the door.
Door 3: there's a lockpick somewhere outside.

He was referring to after the dream. When he reached the real church.
Good explanation though!

Tips: Killing the chomper will net you a medallion (you'll see the code). Then you can either run away or open the door. You'll get it again in reality if you failed to do so in the dream although you missed a creepy moment.

Idk what the code was! I actually changed the first two and I randomly got it.

I went to the church and the priest told me the combo 5682 and it wont unlock the door for me. I put in the combo and press esc, get a click noise and when I click on the door again it takes me back to the combo...

When I was in the dream sequence I died fighting the chomper, do I have to kill it and finish the dream all the way in order for it to work? If so I guess I can't follow this storyline without starting over again :\

Is Priest code just lie?
Then If you didnt kill chomper in dream, cannot go in trap door ever?
I killed chomper in the dream but I cant remember ofcourse.
There is no meddalion in my jounal lol

If you died/escape, the living priest will tell you the code the moment you approach the door.
If you killed him, you can get the medallion off his dead body.

Maybe if you cannot open the trapdoor if you died/escaped, then you can probably kill him in real life and get the medallion. Same converging storyline I guess.

I died in the dream, went into the church and was told 5682. It doesnt work. I then tried to kill the priest with a 45 to the face. His health dropped but hes still sitting there. Cant loot. Cant enter church basement. Can anyone give me a code to try aside from the two mentioned? I have a feeling its a randomized set of codes rather than completely random.
