Woah calm down bro. I never said that there should be mod tools before the game is finished. I don't want that either, but it'd be nice if the finished product came with them
Calling mods "TRASH" is, quite frankly, an insult to the modding community as a whole. While I don't make mods myself (you seem to jump to the conclusion that I do for some reason), the people making them do it for FREE, just so that others can have some fun. People devote years to making mods for others to enjoy, calling their work "TRASH" is quite pathetic and ungrateful. Also, some of the best games out there started out as mods (Insurgency, Red Orchestra, etc.). Some mods are better than the base game itself. So stop flaming the forums about something you clearly know nothing about.
but i digress, i think mods would be fun to have. honestly it'd add to the game overall.
Mods can bring attention to a game, which benefits The Studio behind the games creation...
i see him more of the "HARCORZ GAMER!! WAHT NO CHANGE!!" whiner/ rager species. suggest even the smallest of things and they snap like your going to cheat and destroy there godly game.
and i agree, mods could acctually add to the hardness then take away from it. add more monsters/ mobs, change layout, weaken you and items for a insane game mode of sorts. change settings to how many mosters in a area, for example more common in the grassy areas and swarm the dark forest.
i agree, the mods could add to the game, and draw attention to it...And even add a greater love to the game.
Like, Think Of Arma 2 and day Z....and im pretty sure Valve, another game studios, has benefited greatly from the modding community...
* to a point where Gabe is swimming in money*
At first I thought you were an idiot, but now it's apparent that you're just a troll. I'd bring up examples of the many great mods in games, but I'm sure you won't hear it.
You really should reconsider your priorities in life if you enjoy trolling constructive forum posts for cheap kicks.
Alright.
