so i dont know where it comes from but it spawns in my house almost every night and it only "dies" when i throw a molotov at it which is really a waste of stuff. this time it spawned at my spant point means i spawn on it and when i can move i alrdy lost 1 of my 2 bars of health and i only have 0,5 bars left when i got of that ♥♥♥♥. im lacking stuff for making another molotov but i dont know what that ♥♥♥♥ is where it comes from why it comes into my house every night and how i get it away in a better way then stupid mollows

I think the banshee's spread it. Or it's the "new comer at night" on the patch notes. instead of wasting molotovs which use .5 gas or a full bottle of alcohol take your gas can equip it and a stack of matches hold the right mouse button and tap the left mouse it will cause a very faint puddle on the ground then step back equip the matches and right click and "toss" it will burn the "creep" as I call it. If you want to test the puddles of gas jsut do it on bare floor so you can see how much makes a decent fire. but anyway doing this and working your way to teh center of the creep will kill it all.

banshees? i didnt saw anything near my house why are they there every night? i dont move i dont use light how do they find my house every time? and its hard to find the center of the "creep" because it spreads across 2 rooms lol...

yeah I know...work it back by burning a line to the center. It takes time but it kills it permanetly. I'm on day 25 and have only had to "reburn" it once

monsters will come to your house no matter what, but they won't go to piotrek's house. If you are quick...run home ...drink from teh well...then book it to his house.

you have to burn out the center of the growth. if you leave any of it behind it will respawn

another quick way to do it is take the healing pills that make you immune to poison for a short time.....equip the gas and click little puddles to the center of the creep...then drop one match.

The infestation is caused by small bugs that visit you at night. They look like the ones that you can find outside by the holes. If you kill them quickly enough you can prevent the infestation.

You can create spots of gas on the floor while it is clean, if the next morning shows infestation just light the gas you already spilled. If you know where the infestation will be, you should be able to burn it away with 2-3 well placed spots.

One of the nights I was hiding in the corner, one of the red bugs entered my house. I couldn't attack it otherwise the creatures outside would have heard my footsteps and battered by barricades, so I watched the bug. It burrows underground and voila, next morning you've got an infestation.

It's easy to deal with, but even fully killing it will cause it to reappear eventually, so I adapted to letting it take over all but my one hideout room, as in certain house areas you can run by it without taking damage. Eventually, enemies also seemed to become less interested in my house while it was totally infested, hence I left it alone just to try it out and see if that was correct or just plain luck.

Yeah, it's spread by bugs from hives you can find in the ground. If you find a hive, walk over to it, pour one click of gas on the top, and drop a match on it. That'll kill the bugs inside and net you some odd meat from the cooked insects. Also, I think the infection-spreading bug can only enter your house through an opening, so barricade all windows and drag the long wardrobe in front of the hole in the wall. And if the infection does breach, I walk to the edge, pour a click of gas, walk back and then drop a match. I have to repeat this a couple times as it doesn't kill all of the infection at once, but it uses very little gas and doesn't damage my health.

I use gasoline + matches, dont waste molotovs on it
