Mostly because you'll almost always use it when attacked by chompers,
meaning you run away, quickly turn, and fire.
With the single barrel you wouldn't have time to aim anyway,
And when you are the one attacking there are better ways to kill monsters than to waste ammo.
So basicly what it comes down to is the single barrel needs to be reloaded every shot, the double barrel every 2 shots, ergo the double barrel is better.
ps: i'm not aware if the damage output is same or different, but i go with same.
Didn't know about the dmg difference, now i certainly stick with the double barrel.
I havent found it yet. Is it really a single barrel shotgun or does the quarter second reload attempt to emulate a pump action?
It's a single barrel. You find it in a code locked chest.
Thanks. That answered my question.
