What are those crow monsters?
Same as title, what are those crow monsters that wander into my hideout during the night but never attack?? Even when face to face with me.

They scream when you get too close to them, which attracts nearby chompers and the like. Just stay away, and make sure you close the doors they leave open.

Those are Banshees. And yea they pretty much do what ^^^ said. They tend to be harmless as long as you leave them alone and theres no other monsters around them.

Haha alright thanks guys! Yeah I didnt attack or anything but I just stood face to face with it after it decided to bust through all my doors and move all my furniture and it just turned around and left. Thanks!

Monsters should never be able to open doors, I died for the first time because I thought REPAIRING a door and closing it was going to provide some time for me to bandage cause they would have to break it down (considering monsters dont know how doors operate and would bash them down) Thanks for that ♥♥♥♥ design choice. No point repairing doors, it's just an added step to barricading for no reason.

Some enemies can't open doors; the ones that used to be human do.

You'll want that door up and barricaded to block line of sight and slow down a Savage while a Chomper is climbing in through the window. You can also kill enemies through barricades by using gasoline traps or toxic bottles.

Chompers can't open doors though.

That's one way to open a door.

Dogs, Huge Dogs, Banshees, and Huge Bugs are all stopped by a barricaded door. Banshees tend to wait until a Savage or Chomper has cleared the path for them.

i am pretty sure banshees cant open barriaced doors but normal ones they can.

Probably the scariest regular enemy. The hatchlings they spawn now are not much better.

At least they die easily to any form of crowd control.

Maybe, but since banshee attacks are one of the most unnerving and distracting events, its very easy to be killed if there's a combo of problems happening all at once (other events or monsters),
whether you're trying to avoid the banshee's eyes or not.
