Bike Man from chapter 1 to chapter 2

Will I be able to get the bikeman to bring my workbench stuff to the chapter 2 hideout or will I just have to stock up on everything that I think is necessary and hope that I don't forget anything valuable?

Edit: I just don't want to walk through the door and not be able to retrieve anything that I would think "I can just go back and get it later or the bikeman will handle the work for me."

The bell doesn't work in chapter 2. If you ring it says nothing happened.

You can't go back to chapter 1 so fill your inventory and sell the rest to the three.

I would take crafted items since that are made from many other items that take up more space. I would also say take upgraded weapons/expensive items/rare items I wouldn't take common items like boards, nails, rags, (unless you use bandages, I only use the full health pills) just a suggestion
