Knocking on the door

So I'm only on day 3 at the first hideout and I heard knocking while hiding in my corner. I'm aware that you're encouraged to check it out but there are two doors in the hideout and I'm on the opposite side of the house from one. Does it matter which one I open? How do I even know which one that they're knocking from if so? Thanks.

There is directional sound. Also, one door in each hideout is designated as the front door; you can usually tell just by looking at the layout. Lastly, nothing stops you from checking both.

Okay cool. I guess I'll just have to brave it out and run to the other side when it happens again because I'm pretty sure I'm not at the front door.

Literally just as I posted my first reply, it happened. thankfully I was wrong and I am actually at the right door. Got a cool invitation to a sweet party

i didnt know something happened if you actually opened the door, ive always been a coward and ignored it

Yeah thats what I was doing too lol, but make sure to brave it out and get whatevers there. If you're set up in the right room and close enough to the door then you're most likely not going to attract enemies and you can just get the loot no problem.
