SPOILER: stuck in prologue
After you switch to the captured guy, I can't leave the house. I made a lockpick and broke down the door but after that I'm stuck and I THINK I searched everything. wtf

This is the part where I see most YouTubers and streamers get stuck for a bit. I think they tend to forget that the wardrobe was once in a different location and that the door was there.

If the prologue was meant to be a test of whether this game has reached the "right" kind of player, it was successful. After 20 minutes of examining the radio to find a code for the lock, I know now this game is not for me. Refunded.

Does it get worse after 2 years?

That's the dumbest complaint/whining ever, people are going to pick this game up whenever they want. What an absolute brainlet.

A big problem with the game is early on when you have to open the front door, and no tutorial or tip whatsoever exists for controls, so you have to fiddle with it.

There should be tooltips or tutorial explaining how tab opens inventory, and that you can long press action button to pick different options in the doors and some containers.

There's a difference between not holding hands and not even explaining the basics. Game could be way better overall, if it had an isometric view and didn't have all the acid trips.

I also don't understand dudes who complain about opening old threads, as if old issues are not a thing in many games. Imagine someone triggered enough to go into rage mode because someone reopened an old thread on a game they play, how lame is that XD

...There is, though? Pay more attention. The tutorials and tooltips are there.

Hard disagree. A lot of the game's horror stems from the limited FOV, which really only works because of the top-down perspective.

As far as acid trips go, the entire game is an acid trip. That's like, it's whole thing.

Not explaining basics is kinda a common thing cuz most people have common sense...

Then again, Games nowadays have to constantly remind people that wasd is too move and space is too jump so...

Plus... The game does have tooltips, Might wanna pay attention.

I am an experienced gamer and I've been stuck in prologue for 30 minutes. Definitely was no tooltip. There's defending a game you like, but then there's just being ignorant.

It wasn't a tool-tip, it was a message across the top of the screen.
I am guessing you are a YouTuber? :D They are notorious for not noticing stuff.

Even though "pushing furniture" around sounds mundane, it will be an extremely important part of your play through... Love this game
