What should I do with my stuff in Old Woods hideout?

So, I'm about to move out of my Old Woods hideout with the doctor, and I know that you can't bring your stuff with you. So I've chosen the items that I want to bring with me. My question is what to do with all the stuff I've left behind. Should I just sell it all to the trader? Or is there any sort of point to keeping it around.

It's all surplus items, you will begin the next area with a new rep account from scratch (so no point in selling off stuff to bank rep).

It's ok to just take all your essentials (weapons & ammo), max out the rest of your backpack slots and leave everything else behind.

there is a bell in the silentwoods hideout workshop, ring it and a bike man appears and he will offer to move your stuff to your new hideout!

I looked it up on the wiki and you can't move the stuff to the Swamp. Its probably too much water or something

Yeh, they thought you were asking how to move stuff from hideout to hideout instead of from chapter 1 to chapter 2.
