what is required for entering the silent forest

hey i need an advice before i head out to the silent forest,,
*may contain spoilers*



i currently have a a semi handgun a plank with nails and some other gimmiks..
am i set to go to the next area? im currently at night 9 and covered the whole area
is it ok to go or i need more gear? have a nice day!

Plank can be enough even in Old Woods if you're good with it thanks to it's fast chargeup time. Even if you're new you should do fine though, you might die a few times but that's okay, it's the part of the game.

Make sure to use the single-shot for emergencies, but don't craft any more of them as they're waste of resources imo... though they're pretty fun to use tbh lol.

I'd recommend trying to get shovel, it'll get you through Silent Forest and Old Woods easily.

hey thanks for answering!, i currently have a semi handgun a mag a single shot 2 planks and 2 bandages is it alright then? also if i die will i lose the gun? worked hard to get it ..

If you have the handgun and an upgraded plank then you should be good to go. Especially since you covered the whole area.

Although you should know that nights won't be peaceful anymore.

As long as you don't play on nightmare then you'll be able to recover your stuff after death (unless it's your last life on hard), you won't get the rep for surviving the night though.

You don't drop anything that's in your hotbar so you shouldn't worry about losing it, you should worry more about losing ammo for it.
