Oxygen tank lost. Is it now impossible to finish the game?

Hi everyone.
I got oxygen tank, refilled it, placed it in my inventory (not in fast access bar).
In the right underwater area (which is marked with crosses behind map's limits) I was killed and lost my oxygen tank there.
I cannot return there because I need oxygen tank to get there and take my lost backpack.
I already lost radio tower ending and didn't go to tree's roots yet.
Now I can't visit tree's roots because it also needs the tank.
Does that mean I am now not able to finish the game?

Hey, this is happened to me once to. When this happened to me luckily I had another tank back at the hideout.

There is almost always two ways to obtain important quest items (perhaps partly as a fail safe in events like these).

I recommend referring to the Darkwood Wiki if you need any spoiler info as to the location of the other tank.
