Can't find Piotrek

I have recently went to Piotrek's house, killed the dog in his garage, and started his side quest(?) of gathering parts for his rocket. The problem is that when I returned to his house two days later, he's nowhere to be found. I looked all over his property, waited a day and looked again, and I still can't find him.

Am I missing something or is there some sort of glitch/bug to where he just doesn't reappear?

Is the incomplete rocket still present in his yard?

Sounds like you traded the 4 parts that he needed already (always try to use the rep that you earn with him before he goes away).

Well ♥♥♥♥, I didn't realize that I did and I thought that he still needed more parts. Regardless, thank you for the response

He does have a quest item in his possesion which you can buy from him (before he departs), but don't worry if you didn't get it from him.

There is an alternative way to obtain this quest item, there is nearly always 2 ways of finding quest items in the game (just in case you miss one of the ways or if one of the methods is not possible)..

..it won't matter too much if you don't find the item because the quest is much like an optional side-quest (you either do it or you don't) so even if you don't discover the item the story still progresses (and you will know what to do when you get to this part again in future playthroughs).
