I don't really dislike any of the night events; the only nights that bug me are ones where I'm facing multiple centipedes and spiders at once in the final hideout.
And banshees are actually my favourite monster. Whenever I hear one I immediately hit it so I can use my sickle on it's babies
There's also the night where there's shadows, a glare following you around, and a black substance chomper or something all at once. It sucks being restricted to a small space having to dodge around a tough enemy till their invincibility wears off.
Other than that, I honestly wish there were MORE scary night events or at least enemy buffs. Centipedes for example are an enemy that's rough and horrifying for a new player at first, but on future playthroughs, you learn you can literally just bonk them on the head as they pop out and they're easily dead. They're almost a joke. It would be cool if the harder modes not only limited lives, but increased difficulty with enemies in a less artificial way as well. (honestly though, centipedes would be a bit scarier with the very simple buff of not having them spawn directly under the player)
You don't even need a molotov or a pistol. You can just use a melee weapon like a shovel or sickle to spawncamp the babies and it makes the banshee a massive joke. I really wish the banshee was buffed.
The hardest one for me is the night after burning the tree because it is relentless. I love that night scenario, it's so scary and so much fun.
Most scenarios can be blocked if you barricade your homes strategically. I barely have anything get near me. I wedge furniture ever so perfectly where enemies can't get through easily and if they do... I've got 2 hours left in the night to survive.
Sure, the final area has you attacked by many dangerous enemies, but you also have much better gear and experience then.
