Banshee on night 5

Literally the first night in silent forest. I had no idea they can even spawn there since on my first playthrough i started seeing them in old woods. Guess i was just lucky or something was patched since i last played the game (1 year ago).

I think i once encountered one at dry meadow. Although it was around night 10 (and no it wasn't the non-agressive one)

Time doesn't affect difficulty, it did in alpha. Also i never encountered banshee in Dry Meadow, i saw some youtuber encounter one right after seeing the non-agressive one

i was wondering if some patches changed the spawn locations of banshees. Also in 15 days i never had a bug infestation which is weird

A lot of events and locations are randomly generated within this game. Some minor events are fixed though.

I encountered two banshees on my 3rd night in dry meadows on my first playthrough. First one was the passive banshee, but literally like 10 seconds after I picked up the banshee baby fetus (called "???" ingame), an actual banshee came into my house. Because of that, I assumed you weren't supposed to pick up said item otherwise you'd die simply put. Quite a strange coincidence.

I'm guessing picking up the fetus triggers agressive banshee to spawn in.

Nope. This is completely untrue. Usually nothing happens when you pick it up.

On my first playthrough i picked it up, but nothing happened either. I never met that banshee again probably because i never spent more than 2 days in Dry Meadow after my first run. Perhaps there's a chance that the Banshee will come in after picking that up. I saw some youtuber get attacked by one right after picking up the fetus.

lol congrats. every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ night i swear, i get two banshees minimum spawning. i do rush over to old woods or chapter 2 but still. they're just annoying; not novel or scary.

I think they're scary until you realize you can literally just spawncamp the babies as the banshee screams and yeet them all with a shovel or sickle. Now they're just a joke. I really like the idea of them though and I wish they got a rework, I have similar feelings with other monsters too.
