Is it true the devs literally made a torrent for this game?
If so I am gonna buy this game just for that

Yes, and it's currently a contentious topic. Expect personal attacks and irrational debates in this thread now.

Well as an avid gamer, a long time supporter of game developers that treat their players right. This, while I think the torrenting is good in a way because of the generous outlook of the developers. I can also however, see why customers feel cheated. But let's be honest here, if you liked this game you wanted them to make more games like this, they would need to be successful. Yeah, maybe it sucks because you already paid and could have bought another game. But, you're supporting these developers make great games. This is one of those amazing developers and yeah, I'm buying the game when I get paid.

P.s - If you show that you're toxic and spew venemous comments and attack someone personally for having an opinion. It just shows that you do not belong on the Internet and need to grow up and mature.

It would be available for torrenting regardless of the devs.

All this is true, thanks to the torrent it gave me a chance to try the game before purchasing it.

Haha Null Winter so true..

I was aware of the game, but had no real interest in playing it prior to hearing about the torrent thing on Pretty Good Gaming's podcast. I still don't know when I'll get around to playing it, but at least it's in my Steam Library now.

I am working class and I am thrilled to be able to support developers such as these.

If you were going to buy it, you would have.

If you were going to torrent it, you would torrent it. Now it's safe both ways; it's just up to personal preference of supporting the devs or not.
can i get a ♥♥♥♥ key resellers from everyone

i myself support the decision, people who were going to pirate it will pirate it anyway and its how it has always been
the ones who buy it are supporting a future for the developers
over the last couple years ive been seeing less and less youtubers advertising key resellers, maybe working out how they are in business while still selling keys for cheaper than steam
i guess we can hope something will be done about key resellers eventually but for now any publicity about the shady bs around key resellers is good for all consumers through equality and for devs recieving payment for their game
now if we could do something about the bs price mark up for living in a country that isnt USA getting that 10-40% extra on a game after conversions for the same digital game leaves a bad taste in the mouth

might just buy this game on principle
it feels the right thing to do and its only $20

edit
forgot g2a was profanity

Sucks to be an aussie. The government has made ISP's in this country ban TPB. So even if I want to legitimately download this game to try before buy, I am buggered. :steamsad:

you are in a minority. there's been no explosion of sales due to the torrent, just a trickle of users.... not enough to even make a dent on the steamcharts.

plus, this forum went back to prior levels of activity a week to two weeks after the torrent's release.

this was a PR stunt that failed, given the devs were not even in a position to take advantage of it in the first place.

it does combat those key resellers i guess
B the Self Sep 15, 2017 @ 4:09pm
i bought 2 copies of the game for 15$ each so 30$ in total JUST BECAUSE they gave us the complete game in the torrents
people will pirate anyway so its a good choice to give it virus free
