Lost in Chapter 2.. Help?

Spoilers Ahead Maybe.

I've explored what seems like all of the Swamp. Read about the oxygen compressor.. repaired it. Found the talking tree cellar entrance but it's "blocked." Met the snail, killed it (no information on how to destroy the cords) >:( Went to the Radio Tower, got killed a bunch by banshees, went in, failed the dream because of multiple chompers in the dark. Got turned around. Met the Mushroom Granny. Can't do anything. Found Elephants. Rescued boy. Got O2 tank, don't know what to do with it.

I've been all over this Swamp for a long time. I don't know where I'm supposed to use this oxygen tank and the tree's cellar is "blocked. I really don't know how I'm supposed to progress with the main quest, and I like this game but it's getting frustrating.

Someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

there are two cellars in the village... one is blocked the other isn't. look around more.

also fill the O2 tank at the compressor

fill the o2 tank with oxygen from the decompressor and go back to the basement under the tree.

Ok I will search now, thanks. Can you tell me what I need to bring? Explosives? I'm getting tired of finding places and lacking the equipment and having to backtrack, or blowing a bunch of resources trying to destroy the Snail's cords for example and getting nowhere. Thanks.

Blocked meaning it won't let me open the cellar. I'm going to try the other cellar hatch this guy above indicated.
