Can't find village
Map looks like I have the entirety of the silent forest explored and I still can't actually find it.

It should actually be marked from the map you pick up shortly after entering.

Read your journal it should give the approximate location. Its on the edge of the map.

there's a road you'll come across at the edge of the map, follow it.
