2. Sort-of-maybe-not so much
The plays like a traditional ARPG inside of a 4x -like game. You pilot your ship either with the mouse , keyboard keys , gamepad and use "hotkeys" to fire particular weapons of your choosing. It has a sense of Armada, in that you are flying around shooting other ships, monsters, enemy bases, etc. collecting items, and so forth, but its progression and interaction with the galaxy is much more indepth. It really plays more like a 4x game where you just comand 1 ship, like Evochron Mercenary, Galaxy on Fire 2, or even Space Rangers, just with a isometric view.
It has the possibility of "jump in a play" like Armada ...but it really wants you to stick around and get involved.
