Really diggin' the new art style.

After watching the trailer for this game and the 'special' that aired on Cartoon Network I've gotta say that I really like the new art style. Sure my nostalgic side would say otherwise, but although the original artist is working on My Little Pony the replacement is just as good!

I'm really, really hoping that there will be more episodes in the future... Oh! Games too!

I think the actual animation in the new show was amazing, but I still don't really like the redesigns.
I'd still be happy to see more of the show of course, because its one of my favourite shows ever.

I am a sucker for nostalgia, having the option to play as the classic powerpuff girls is a win for me.

Mmm, I'm not to big on the new designs. Too...jagged I guess? for my taste, so having the classic look included is a good idea. If the game looks good on release and isn't too much I'll definitely look into getting it in the future.

Yup. Wasn't a fan of the original, but it just looks like it's trying to be anime. It's kind of cringe-inducing.

Actually, on the contrary to popular belief, Lauren Faust didn't create the Powerpuff Girls, her husband Craig McCraken did. She was just became a major part of the show when the two first met.

Secondly, Lauren Faust hasn't worked on My Little Pony since early season 2.
What she IS busy with is the Disney Cartoon Wonder Over Yonder, which again she's only a major part of and her husband is the main creator.

I think the new art style looks fine in screencaps, not as a replacement but as its own thing, but the episode in motion looked REALLY bad.

The current comic series uses the classic style and looks AWESOME
