Cracking the safe (minor spoilers)

This thread is dedicated to cracking the safe in the warhouse! As far as i'm aware no body knows the combination yet and there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to find it. Anyone got an ideas on how to crack it post them here!

I read on another thread that one user tried replacing the numbers with letters of the alphabet to crack the safe but they couldn't find a word which worked, this might be how to unlock it but i'm not sure.

I noticed if you get the combination wrong a number of times you get a strange beeping noise, i don't know if this changes depending on if you've got any numbers correct, i tried several combinations with no luck.

If anyone finds the combonation i'll update the original post with how to find it and what it is!

I already saw a thread for this and posted what I got let me copy it over, I think I was getting somewhere:
Hey guys I think I know how to figure out the combo for the safe, the one in vagabond dog gave the code in the trash, but if you take the number given, 21712544 and compare it with the word vagabond, for example, v is the 22 letter, the tenths spot is omitted. Put it back in and you get 22 1 7 1 2 15 14 4. Now just find a word that they would use. Good luck and share your results, fyi already tried BOBHOARD, DEVOLVER, and of course the original code, no luck. Add MONSTERS to the not working list.

Clarification, the safe is the 8-digit combination safe not the file cabinet with the union papers. M'k?

Ah sorry, then I have misunderstood. My game's busted so I can't do any more investigation for now :/

Like I said before, the fact is that Vagabond was the translated password for a safe with the same amount of numbers as the one in the warehouse, its a safe bet to say the combo is the same translation, but a different word, one I havent guessed yet. Also its common sense, but vagabond isnt the password for this safe, just the first one.

EDIT: The trucks outside are also branded with "Sofa King" on the side, that might be worth a shot.

I would really like to find out the answer to this, because SECRETS! Have you tried mixing the lotto ticket winning numbers around?

There are only 6 lotto ticket numbers, it is an 8-digit safe. I also tried the comet coordinates from the flashback, there were too many of them and they didn't seem to work anyways.

Hm.. I would say maybe the safe is just a developers tease, but.. I really wish it isn't.
