Burden (or better said, Sargent) starts the history again if he dies, so when the black hole sucked him, he died, and started over again.
The DLC should explain it, and I have a theory on here somewhere.
The Everdusk is pretty much an unknown variable however.
Seriously, they said "Learn more about the secrets of the Everdusk Company", and we have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what the ♥♥♥♥ they're up too.
I bet it's satanic.
It's probably satanic.
And the game is all about choice but also about how choice in videogames ultimately don't matter as the consequences of the choices made by players in games rarely if ever affect the systems of the game.
Wrote more about it indepth here: http://onemorecontinue.com/gods-will-be-watching/
but we will see what happens in teh DLC and if this holds up!
i agree
Man, I couldn't agree more.
And also , the feeling that Burden has repeatedly done the same so many times is just depressing when you take the time to think about it
The idea that the players are the gods is definitely one worth looking at, but not the one the game's canon follows or the one that should be considered "True".
i understand what you are saying, but is there room for a Canon story and a Meta story? I agree with you but I also think there are multiple layers, each with its interpretation
