Besides, GWBW Logic is strange as ♥♥♥♥.
I lost 3 that way. Dr. Zenesz caught the Medusea virus immediately after day 1, then Marvin (the dog), and near the end I lost Sarah to the virus. Had tons of excess food, fuel, and time to repair the radio so I couldn't complain too much about those unavoidable deaths.
I did finally get everybody through alive on original light difficulty, but as far as not letting anybody die goes, this level has been ridiculously unfair to me so far. Even on narrative mode difficulty, it's usually just me and one other survivor by the end. Geezus.
Dr. Whatsisname is just a big downer on the entire group of otherwise happy troopers. I find it impossible to keep him not miserable and be productive in a given day. I fed him cooked food everyday, talked to him everyday, fixed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ radio, and the bastard still left when I didn't talk to him for one day since Jack didn't catch anything that night and the food stocks were gone.
The mission was otherwise disappointingly easy if you kill him off after having him scrounge up half a dozen antidotes and giving a speech about the importance of sacrifice. I couldn't have felt any less pity for the miserable ass as useful as he was in the cave.
You could kill off team members as they lost usefulness (Even Sarah), and end up with only Jack, who was pitifully high in morale.
I have more problems keeping Sarah sane though, and as a result, Donald.
PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN PUN
have Jack make an ass load of spears and hunt ONLY with them, save bullets for the animals at night.
have brandon grind away at the radio.
keep Marvin and Jack alive at all costs.
That's me though, I stopped feeling empathy after the third failure.
The next mission in the desert has the same sort of theme.
