But yeah, it focuses only on violence which is a bad marketing practice. I for one would've like to see a bit of narrative just to see if that's well enough written.
I also reported the game (using the flag on the store page) as being disturbing to request an age check. This is to stop people bìtching/arguing about the violence in the game: at least there will be a fair warning on the game page and all those sensitive hypocrites ässhöles will stop trolling this forum.
It's also weird that stuff like Saints Row asks me everytime to check my age when there is nothing troubling and that for this game and its graphic trailer there is absolutely no age verification.
Are you foriegn?
I just want to friendly remind you that it does not alienate all players who appreciate deeper games It might also do the opposite, depending on how the customer is looking at it. It was all the violence in combination with the text that pops up(which everyone seem to look forget about) about that you have choices and a burden etc. that made me go like "Sweet! A game that tells a very horrible and raw story!" The trailer was the reason I pre-ordered it. The trailer for Far Cry 3 gave a similiar kind of reaction, and it was also the reason why I bought it. Its not that I am looking for games that will contain pure and brutal violence, sometimes I just want a story about someone whos life is about to get miserable, about someone who will do desperate things to get out of it and of course a story with some serious consequences. All this was the expectations and feelings I got from the trailer.
I bet that I am not the only one to think like this. So I do understand that some people are upset or thinks it just weird or stupid I am just trying to make you and other people(mainly hunterRose) understand it from another perspective.
I can clearly see from your profile that you love deep and meaningful games, like Mount & Blade, Terraria and ...Goat Simulator. I'm guessing you're just trolling though.
LOL Really? I love how you people rip Americans all the time! It's Europe and Australia that has a problem with violence in games not Americans. They censor everything!
Now if it is nudity or sex that may be true but not violence.
Why do you ask if she or he is foreign??
i think hes talking about the people who complain, not government rules
German and Australia that has a problem with violence* And I dont think he is talking about censorship, the picture I have and my friends have of Americans is that they censor nudity and when it comes to violence in games they go all crazy talking about how violent games is the source of all school-massacres in USA. Like I said in some other post about Battlefield and the drone dlc. It was all Americans(atleast the majority) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about how sick DICE was to release such awful DLC because some innocent people recently had been killed by American troops in the middle eastern by drones.
And from my own experience it is alot more common to see Americans talk about how sick violent games are and they try to not only act as some kind of world-police with their army, but also som internet-morale-police as well : s
