Resolution??
It's bad enough there's no fullscreen mode (beside forcing window in full screen), but there are no resolution options either, and the game doesn't support the most used aspect ratio of 16:9 (2560x1440, 1920x1080, 1600x900...)? It's not even 4:3 but some odd 4:2.6 ratio. So if I go full screen I get 2 vertical black bars, one on each side. It really ruins the experience. Am I missing something?

They may be unable to change the resolution. All of the artwork could be made specifically for this resolution. Could cause weird scaling problems like with risk of rain at weird resolutions.

The problem is that the game natively runs at completely non standard resolution and I'd like it to run on something that is 16:9, which is standard this days. Not the other way around. Or maybe the black bars art part of the game "art"(?)

Were the developers drunk when they decided to use the 4:2.6 resolution that no device can support?

Not having 16:9 is unacceptable in this day and age.

Go into windowed and compare the width of objects, it took me a while to notice aswell but when I compared it I noticed that it was stretched.

Hold LEFT ALT and press ENTER to go fullscreen.

It will either stretch or have black bars, the problem is that the game doesn't really support 16:9, or other common ratios, meaning that it either becomes a stretched image or has black bars, wasting screen space.

The only thing I can think of is that the developers needed to do this to ensure that everyone can see the same amount, allowing them to design levels around that (such as having to jump into a building to see more of it, rather than giving an advantage to people with wider monitors.

I'm not only conserned about aspect ratio change, but also that game is scaled using bilinear filtering, meaning everything becomes bit blurrier than they should be :\
Legacy version uses nearest neighbor.
No full screen = not pretty, prettyshitty.

I see. Another Devolver-published game Fistful of Gun suffers from the same issue.

I agree, for some reason games published by Devolver often suffer from technical issues. Native widescreen support should be mandatory on Steam.
