Chapter 4 Level 2 help?
Alright, so, I have no idea how to get past this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1386953814

Opening the door to the right causes a light to shine through and immediately get me caught by the civillians on the other side of it.
I tried using the elevator to distract the left civillian before breaking the window and going up the air vent, but once he returns to the broken window he sounds the alarm (I assume it's because he sees the broken window).
I tried using the elevator to distract the left civilian, then trying to get up the vent as fast as possible by taking an alternate route around (to avoid breaking the window), but I don't think I can make it up the walls fast enough.

I've got through a good chunk of the game, but this part has me stumped (as far as getting all the secondary objectives goes). Anyone able to give some advice?

Alright. So, what you have to do is you need to trigger the elevator to go up and distract the civilian WITHOUT being inside the elevator. That makes him walk over to the elevator, and you can climb the outside wall to get into the vent without being seen. Hope this isn't too late to be helpful.

Bit of a necro, but since this was the top post on the subforum I hope it's alright.

I'm stumped here too, and though your advice takes me step closer I have one problem: How can I send the elevator up without being inside? I only get the option to go inside the elevator, and after that I get the up and down options. This game doesn't do a lot to explain it's most basic functions :steamfacepalm:

EDIT: Jeez, I just got it: You have to click on the elevator door on the floor you want it to go to. :steamfacepalm: :steamfacepalm: :steamfacepalm: I'm not sure I'll ever get used to this "click the icon" gameplay interface in an action game even if I'll complete the whole game.

Thanks for the advice, and I hope my brain fart helps others who needed a little extra help :steamhappy:

Yeah. This level made me realise how unfinished this game is. To get through this section you NEED a controller. because only with it you can move the camera freely and activate elevator without being in it.

Maybe there are controls for camera on the keyboard but in that case game doesn't explan them and I couldn't find them by pressing all the butons.
I will be writing a negative rewiev becasue of this.

I literally just drug the frame using the mouse. It is not that hard.

Yeah, I'll admit that it didn't seem obvious to me at first but you just have to right click and I felt stupid afterward.

I agree that it's unfinished. I've failed the bonus on missions because I got a Samurai jammed inside a wall - once he just didn't count as dead, once he wasn't dead and also raised the alarm.

To be fair, the "Hints" which are actively unhelpful are a fairly overt sign of "nah I didn't want to bother finishing this"
