How do you attack/kill an enemy and how do you unlock doors?

When you're using mouse and keyboard, you click the icon/button which appears in such cases.

Should you be using a gamepad, I *think* you need to press the button of the same color as the displayed icon.

Just jump/go next an enemy and you will have button choice to choose to use to kill him/her.
Same for doors but works only when you are side where is the button.

Left clicking the button that appears just makes him jump again.

Can you show what you mean? I'm having the same issue.

The tutorial told me to stun a guard, which I did. Then he gets up and sounds the alarm, which hardlocks the level since all the doors are now locked. I can't figure out how to kill him.
The seconds dude I'm told to finish off, but the game never explains HOW.

i just found the salution after suffering the same problem
dont play in fullscreen
above a certain resolution the game is a bit wonky

know its a bit late but people in the future might find it helpfull
