So what? In every other video game in existence (literally) you can choose your character, why should it bother anyone that some of them are used more than others? You'd still try each of them as you unlock them, it's not like some of the devs work would be useless. And you could make this option only available once you completed the game and unlocked every bro, so you at least played the way the devs intended through the whole game.
When you think about it, it's not all that different from choosing your level, and I'm pretty sure no one is against that idea. Randomness is good to keep the game from being repetitive, but leaving more options to the players is better.
I'd probably mainly be playing Mr. Anderbro, Bro in Black, or Snake Broskin.
I just hate not getting to play as the Bros I like.
maybe this mode or game type or options is unlocked once you unlock all characters.
Deathmatch, kind of. Besides, this has been asked like hundreds of times and the devs have said time and again that the Super Crate Box randomness style is there to stay. It's part of the fun, I'd say.
of course that the random thing is here to stay.... no argument about it as this is fundamental part of the challenge.
but it doesn't contradict the idea that there should be a game type where you can fool around with the certain character you choose to.
There certainly should be training moder or a bro-select of some sort..but not at the start.
I agree with adding an option to select one's character...AFTER beating the entire game.
+1 Bro thumb for that!
Because of game design ? It's central to the game that you have to make do. The games where you can choose your character are designed around that idea. Broforce isn't. It's as simple as that. Options aren't always good, especially in games, which, by definition, are activities where you have to circumvent special artificial obstacles. That's the rules. Chess would be boring if you could move every piece the way you feel like. Broforce is the same. Take away the randomness, take away most of the strategy.
