did the new update break the achievement no ticket

the no ticket achievement requires you to throw an enemy off the sky fortress as indiana brones but after the broforce forever update his melee has been changed to a pick axe. i have been trying to get this after the update but the just always ends up killing them since he has a weapon. am i doing something wrong or am i just out of luck with this achievement? is there a way to play the previous build?

indie has always had a melee attack as part of his kit. You can throw mooks, and their dead bodies, with any/every bro by standing adjacent to them and using the melee key while also pressing a directional key.

this achievement is a little picky but it does function properly.

How can you know it works properly? It is known to be broken for long time now.

i did melee multiple enemies while standing on the fortress but it never registered so i thought it has to be the throw animation but it never triggers.

if you are able to do the throw with indie could you let me know if its a distance thing or rng or it has to be while sprinting or something

people have unlocked it so maybe they did fix it but now with the change in his melee weapon idk if its still possible

You have to be very close to an enemy, basically stand where he is standing. Being in motion seems to help too. However, this may not help you getting this achievement either, because it's been broken for at least 5 years now and new update didn't seem to fix that.

Just got to the sky fortress, some first-hand info:
1. You definitely still can throw baddies as Indiana Jones
2. Throwing someone off the sky fortress is not particularly difficult.
3. Getting Indiana Jones out of nearly 50 bros and THEN throwing someone off the fortress is hard af.
4. The achievement IS STILL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BROKEN! THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO FIX IT FOR OVER 5 YEARS NOW. THE ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK IT IS TO USE ACHIEVEMENT MANAGER, WHICH I'M GONNA DO RIGHT NOW. HAVE FUN Y'ALL.

as it turns out u gotta hold the melee key to throw but yes it does not track/register even when done correctly

That achievement is really glitchy, but CAN be gotten. Just keep throwing dudes over and over and eventually it will pop.
