Remove 'too' and you have yourself a nice high skill bro to play with. That's necessary not a bad thing for a game like this.
Somewhere in there lies a nice compromise, i bet. It would make a great and sophisticated new character.
I was thinking about a short cooldown period after firing the six shooter in order to create the effect of reloading. I don't know, about 1.2 seconds or something.
So, holding the fire button fires the bullets at a normal rate. Then a short cooldown.
But being a revolver it can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.
An experienced player could count the bullets fired and adjust this tactics for engaging enemies.
Half Life characters, maybe Alyx, Barney, the Combine and the Vortiguants, but how do you choose which weapons Gordon uses? (Not Crowbar, we have enough melees.)
And Portal, what can you do to fight? Drop turrets?
